HOLDCHEM Sodium Hypochlorite 12-15% is an efficient heavy-duty water-based alkaline cleaner formulated to remove red and yellow dye discoloration from cargo tanks in tankers, commonly caused by dyed gasoline cargos.

Aquatuff can be applied via brush, spray, or high/low-pressure washing. For inert gas system cleaning, mix 1:4 with water and apply; for cargo tank cleaning, use 10-50 liters per 1000 liters of wash water.
General Cleaning
Aquatuff can be used for various types of cleaning and can be applied by brush, hand spray, high & low-pressure washing machines, direct injection method, or recirculation method.
Removal of Soot from Inert Gas Systems (IGS)
- Apply Aquatuff with a high-pressure cleaning machine at a 1:4 ratio with water. If using a hand spray, apply neat on the surface at a rate of 1 liter per 12 m².
- Leave the application for about 30 - 45 minutes, ensuring the surface remains wet.
- Wash down with hot water at around 80°C. Repeat steps if necessary.
Cargo Tank and Cargo Hold Cleaning
- Direct Injection Method: Use tank washing machines with a dosage rate of 10-15 liters per 1000 liters of wash water (1-5%).
- Recirculation Method: Use a dosage rate of 20-50 liters per 1000 liters of wash water.
- Spot Cleaning: Use hand spray neat or prepare a 10-20% solution. Leave for approximately 30 minutes before rinsing with water. Keep the surface wet.
Pre-Wash
Before using Aquatuff, it is recommended to pre-wash cargo tanks with hot water (50-60°C). For drying and semi-drying oils, a pre-wash with cold water should be used. The optimal operating temperature may vary depending on the type of cargo residues:
- For palm oil residues, maintain the solution temperature between 55-65°C at the tank cleaning machine nozzle.
- For hydrogenated oils containing stearic acid (melting point ~70°C), a temperature between 72-77°C at the nozzle is required for effective cleaning.
